A Long Mile

The Czech composer Pavel Stanék has influenced symphonic wind music in a special way with his unique compositions. Often he is inspired by the folklore of his homeland, which can be guessed in the composition "A Long Mile" (A Long Mile), albeit far away. Behind this work is the idea of a long march to some summit. We experience some breathtaking views and the inner determination to constantly approach the set goal with every step. Pastoral and ballad at the same time form the basic feeling of this three-part composition.
