Beskrivning

As part of its 850th anniversary celebrations, the Swiss town of Reinach (canton of Basel-Landschaft) commissioned Gauthier Dupertuis to compose an energetic and rousing work for the town's wind orchestra, MG Konkordia Reinach, which is under the musical direction of maestro Miguel Etchegoncelay.

Reinach Jubilee takes the form of a miniature overture, characterised by a regular pulse from beginning to end. The first part, which has a decidedly festive character, contrasts with a calmer middle section that gradually returns to the celebratory and jubilant outbursts of the beginning of the work.
