With Our Voice, Andreas Ziegelbäck reflects key ideas of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted in 1989 and in force since 1990. At its heart lies one essential right: the right of children to express themselves, to be heard, and to participate in society.

The work gives children a musical and spoken voice, making their perspectives audible. At the same time, Our Voice is designed for young musicians, enabling them to experience making music together at an early stage.
