This work was commissioned by the Japanese Rokko Verde Wind Orchestra. It describes aspects of the concert band's beautiful and open home town - the town of Kobe, the seat of Hyogo Prefecture - in a musical way, but also the hope that was felt after the Hanshin-Awaji earthquake in 1995. Satoshi Yagisawa uses an atmospheric chorale as the cornerstone of the piece, which is written in its recognizably dynamic style.
