Papa Haydn's Parrot for String Orchestra is an arrangement of Winkelman's second String Quartet with the same name. In 2022 upon request of the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the composer arranged the three most suitable movements of the quartet's original eight for a bigger line-up. Now the 7th, 6th and 8th movement form a little suite and can be performed independently.
