The Dutch trumpet player and conductor Erik Waerts (Zaandam, 1960) studied the trumpet at the Amsterdam Sweelinck Conservatory of Music and wind band conducting with Danny Oosterman. For the moment he is teaching the trumpet and also conducts several bands and orchestras.
