During his early life in Bonn, Beethoven was active as an organist and church musician. He composed three pieces for the organ, the Fuga WoO 31, and the two Praeludia Op. 39. These pieces appear in print for the first time as part of a critical urtext edition. This edition also includes three pieces for Flötenuhr (WoO 33a) in a new arrangement by the editor.
