This is the fourth to be published cantata of the series 'Musikarchiv des Ratzeburger Doms'. It's written for the first Sunday of Advent. Striking is the instrumentation, which aims for a particularly magnificent sound. Stylistically, the cantata already shows clear indications of the change to the 'galant' style of the Rococo. All solo vocal parts can easily be mastered by good amateur singers.
