Le petit flûté Gourmand 12

Dear flute-playing friends,

When I met Julien Bourin (finalist in the 2015 edition of Le Meilleur Pâtissier -M6-) and after tasting his cakes, the idea of developing a project together became obvious. We then decided to travel to each region of France, associating music and pastry recipes with each one. Some of the pieces are written with a second flute ad libitum, enabling the youngest students in our classes to play along with their elders in the gastronomic auditions that this collection will no doubt inspire.

And as usual, a flute(s) and piano version as well as the piano solo version are offered, performed by Jean-François Basteau, my talented pianist and composer friend, who has accompanied me in this wonderful adventure from the start. Annick Sarrien-Perrier

While the beautifully illustrated method is as playful, poetic and practical as ever, with some lovely recordings, this time it will also tickle the taste buds of the young and, no doubt, the not-so-young.

What a great idea, thanks to the complicity of Julien Bourin, flautist and pastry chef, to link recipes and melodies, and to introduce our beautiful regions with poetic, cheerful, folkloric duets and mouth-watering tales.
