With "Shadows of Steel", Luxembourg composer Georges Sadeler portrays the history of the Belgian town of Athus, from its peaceful village origins through the rise of the steel industry to economic collapse and eventual renewal. The work was composed for the 150th anniversary of the Harmonie Royale des Sapeurs Pompiers d’Athus.
