The purpose of this transcription/arrangement of mine of the Second Concerto for piano and orchestra op. 18 is to make possible a piano performance of a certain level (avoiding unnecessary exaggerations), which satisfies the desire to interpret the wonderful themes of the Russian composer without the constraints of the orchestra.
