Nordlys (“Northern Lights”) is a journey through the soundscapes of the North, guided by the rune Raidho, symbol of movement and inner quest.

The work unfolds in four stages, like the phases of an initiatory voyage.

This work was written in honour of my dear sister Jocelyne and her extraordinary musical career. The concept echoes her recent trip to Norway and the emotions and fascination that this experience aroused.
