Composed in May 2006, commissioned to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Seinan Gakuin (Fukuoka). The work's title derives from the words "You are the light of the world" found in Matthew 5:14–16 of the New Testament, and embodies the hope that the young people who graduate from the Academy will continue to shine as "the light of the world."
