En passant par le fjord: Fiddle Music from the Saguenay River to Lake St. John is a collection of 28 traditional fiddle tunes and techniques from Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, in Quebec. Written by ethnomusicologist and fiddle player Sophie Lavoie, this book delves into the rich local repertoire and the original fiddle style of her home region. Also included is a selection of audio recordings of the fiddlers featured in the book.
