Ed Huckeby is noted for injecting excitement into his compositions by featuring abundant use of mixed meters, dynamic scoring and memorable melodies. Nowhere is this more evident than in his "Declaration, Ballade and Finale". In contrast, "Blue Lake Reflections" exposes a more sensitive side to his writing.
