Granados wrote only two works for piano 4 hands: En la aldea (In the Village), and Dos marchas militares (Two Military Marches). His only work scored for 2 pianos is not an original work, but is a transcription of Triana by Isaac Albéniz, originally written for piano solo.

Granados performed numerous concerts of works for 2 pianos and piano 4 hands with Edouard Risler and with Joaquín Malats. Thus, it is somewhat surprising that he did not compose more works for either of these two formats....
