Five well-known Finnish folk songs, brilliantly arranged by pianist-composer Ralf Gothóni, are here gathered under one cover!

The arrangements gained wider public attention through the 1996 recording by Karita Mattila and Ilmo Ranta, and have since inspired singer-pianist duos to create interpretations ranging from wistful to boisterous. This edition also includes English translations of the songs, revised by Gothóni and the publisher.
