Giuseppe Gherardeschi (Pistoia, 04.XI.1759 – ivi., 6.VIII.1815) was an Italian organist and composer, a member of a historic family of musicians; son of Domenico (1733-1800), already organist and choirmaster at the cathedral of Pistoia, Giuseppe studied with his father and his uncle Filippo Maria (1738-1808); he later perfected his skills at the Conservatory of Naples with the master of counterpoint and composition Nicola Sala (1713-1801).
