Inspired by the photographs of Ansel Adams, this concerto for trombone was commissioned by Indiana University and the Midwest Clinic for Joseph Alessi and the Indiana University Wind Ensemble, conducted by Ray Cramer. In additionto the original wind ensemble, an arrangement with orchestra accompaniment by the composer and a piano reduction arranged by Mark Rogers are available from the publisher. (2003) ca. 22'.
