The distinguished trio Palisades Virtuosi have commissioned some 40 new works for flute, clarinet, and piano from the finest composers. Responding to such a request, Ewazen set about crafting his own reflection on the seasons of the year, only to realize that the work soon began to capture the seasons of our lives, as well.
