Majesty is an expressive and spectacular overture. Right at the beginning, the work is opened brilliantly by the brass section before they clear the way for a majestic anthem, which is mainly played by the woodwinds. At the end of the piece, the opening fanfare is repeated as an imposing finale in the style of an American symphonic march.
