This arrangement is based on the middle section theme of “Fantaisie-Impromptu in C-sharp minor, Op. 66.” Discovered after Chopin’s death, this piece is in three-part form, but it was named “Fantaisie” due to the fantastic and sweet melody of its middle section, and it is the most beloved of the four impromptus composed.
