“The Anniversary Fanfare I composed in 2025 to mark the 224th anniversary of my hometown brass band, the Trachtenkapelle Schildorn. With this musical ‘birthday present,’ I wanted to express my close bond with my roots in wind music.” (Viktor Burstaller, September 2025)
The world premiere took place as part of the massed-band performance at the anniversary festival in May 2025.
