A commission by the South Shore Conservatory (Duxbury, MA) led to this exciting fanfare for brass quintet. Says Bernofsky, "The piece begins with a rather fragmented-sounding opening, and it gradually takes shape as all the instruments come together to play the main theme of the piece."
